Bongo is a character in Talking Tom and Friends and the TV show in the out-universe, Bongo & McGillicuddy. He is one of the two main eponymous characters in the show, who work for the NTCPDSDBGU (New Town City Police Department Super Duper Bad Guys Unit). Bongo is a loose cannon cop who, alongside his sidekick McGillicuddy, plays by his own rules when it comes to catching the criminal, especially if it’s his arch-nemesis, Dr. Technology. It’s for this reason that they often get into trouble with Chief Buzzcut.
Both Bongo and McGillicuddy sometimes interact with Hank in his subconscious. In his subconscious fantasy, Bongo states that Hank is "the star of his favorite TV show", as Talking Tom and Friends is a TV show in their universe.

Bongo is a cop, yet his uniform looks as if it was a sheriff's uniform, a brown hat, coat, trousers, boots and a star badge.
Personality[]
Bongo was originally a loose cannon cop who plays by his own rules but in "Bye, Bye, Bongo!" it is revealed that he is like any other ordinary officer. He is best friends with McGillicuddy and knows a lot about Talking Tom and Friends, since in his world (and, of course, ours), it’s a TV show. After Bongo and McGillicuddy are ready to retire from police work, Hank helps them stay motivated on helping their city, proving they are both hard-working and passionate officers.
