(Audience applauding as Ben goes on stage.)

Ben: Thank you, thank you very much. Your enthusiasm is appreciated. Any chemistry fans out there today?

(Members of the audience mumble and chuckle.)

Ben: Oh, more physics fans then? Okay.

(Some audience members chuckle)

Ben: Either way, here's one everybody will love: an electron walks up to a proton and says "Are you sure you're a proton?" The Proton says "Of course... in fact I'm positive!" (clears throat) "I don't think so." said the electron, so the proton says... wait for it... "Don't be so negative!"

A aan in the audience: Oh, come on! Oooooo!

Ben: Okay. I guess a comedian shouldn't assume that an audience is smart so, let me help you out. You see, the first humorous aspect of the joke is that an electron can't speak at all.

A woman in the audience: Boooo!

A man in the audience: Go home!

Ben: (sighs) Clearly you need more help. (goes off stage and gets a model of an atom) An atom is made up of positive protons and negative electrons, as you can see here on...

(Unintentionally hits model, resulting in sticky notes flying everywhere while Ben is trying to pick them up. This makes the audience laugh)

Ben: No no no, please don't laugh, you'll never get the joke if you don't listen! I just accidentally did...

(Unintentionally hits microphone, slips and falls. This makes the audience laugh more)

Ben: Stop laughing! If you laugh at someone falling down, it just proves you're a stupid crowd!

(Slips and falls again, making the audience laugh even more)

Ben: I said stop laughing! This is not comedy! (Ben gets tangled in microphone cord) If you don't stop laughing, I am leaving, I mean it!

(Ben accidently pushes the atom model off stage and falls down. Ben gets up and passes gas unintentionally, while the audience continues laughing. Ben pulls the cord and the microphone hits him, causing him to fall off stage. The Audience are now applauding.)
